They start the term at installation, or at a date counted from manufacture when installation cannot be shown. 507982-01, 507982-03 and 507982-04 count an install date only within 18 months of manufacture. Every one ties its registered term to the original owner; 508792-02 (Issue 2624) prints: "Except as otherwise set forth in this Extended Limited Warranty, or prohibited by law, this Extended Limited Warranty is being extended to the original Owner and is not transferable." Some of them give their registered term only on further conditions they print; 506293-04 (09/22/2017) prints: "The unit is installed in a residential application, which is an owner-occupied single-family residence." None pays for labour.
