Privacy Policy

1. What we see (and what we do not)

Because the tools have no account and run on your device, we see almost nothing about you. We never receive what you save or put in a report unless you deliberately send it by writing to us in the feedback box (section 4; Jim, in section 3, is paused). If you connect your AI agent to Intry's MCP server, the agent sends the inputs of each calculation it runs to our server so we can compute it. We keep no copy of those inputs: we record which tool was called, the calling app's name as it reports itself (its user agent) and a hashed form of its IP address, never what was in the call. Your saved work stays on your device (see section 2). What else we collect on our own is small and anonymous:

• Equipment details and readings from our most advanced tools, with the answer our models gave, as described below.
• Anonymous usage counts through Google Analytics: which pages and tools get opened, and general device, browser, and approximate region. This is aggregate usage, not your inputs or results. On the Intry Pro page it also counts which path and which sample flows you pick, and if you sign up, the answers you tap there, never your email address (section 5). This uses cookies.
• Standard server logs from our host (such as IP address, browser type and the page address asked for), kept briefly for security and to keep the site running. When you send a reading from your computer to your phone, the reading rides in that link's address, so it can appear in those logs. It is kept out of Google Analytics.

The tools have no account, so we never ask for your name or your phone number. The one place we ask for an email address is the Intry Pro sign-up, and only if you choose to sign up (section 5).

We learn from the equipment, never from you. When you run a unit through our most advanced tools, we may keep only the equipment details and readings (like a serial or model number, or a pressure reading) and the answer our models gave, so our models get more accurate for everyone. Nothing else you enter in the tools leaves your browser on its own, and the tools never keep your name, contact details, location or account, because they never ask for them.

If you tap “I need this” on a unit we cannot identify yet, we keep that its unit type was asked for, with the same equipment details and nothing about you. That is how we choose which unit types to add next.

2. Your saved work stays on your device

The calculators run in your browser, on your phone or computer. Every job, reading, calculation, and unit record you save is stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. The customer report PDF is built on your device too. Your saved jobs and reports are not sent to us, so we hold no copy of them to hand over, sell, or lose. The only way a saved job or report reaches us is if you send it yourself, by attaching a reading to a message (section 4). Clearing your browser data, or removing the app from your home screen, deletes it, and only you can do that.

3. Jim, the AI helper (paused)

Jim is paused. He is switched off on the site today, so nothing is sent to our AI provider through him. If we switch him back on, this is how he works, and we will update this page first.

Jim is optional. Nothing happens with him unless you choose to ask him a question. When you do, the reading and any notes you send are passed to our AI provider (OpenRouter) to generate the answer, which is then returned to you.

We do not store your Jim question or the conversation on our servers. OpenRouter processes your request to produce the answer under its own privacy terms. If you never open Jim, none of this applies, and your calculators and saved readings never touch it.

4. When you send us a message

The feedback box is optional. Nothing is sent unless you type something and tap send.

When you do, we receive what you wrote and, if you sent it from a tool page, a link to that reading, so we can see the same numbers you were looking at. With it we also keep the country your connection comes from, your browser and device type, which tool, result and answer you were on, which version of the box you saw, and how long since your last visit, so we can read the message in context. The box does not ask for your email address. If you put one in your message yourself, we use it for one thing: to write back to you. It stays with that message only, never with the equipment details described above or with the Intry Pro list.

Those messages are kept in a private spreadsheet only we can see, so we can read them and write back. Nothing else goes with them: your saved jobs, readings, unit records, and reports stay on your device.

5. If you sign up for Intry Pro

Intry Pro is coming soon, and signing up for it is the one place on Intry that asks for your email address. It is separate from the free tools, which stay free and need no sign-in.

• What we keep: your email address; your answers to the four optional questions after it (what you work on, how you work, where your job notes go, and which AI assistant you use), each saved only if you tap one; anything you type in the optional open question; where you came to the sign-up from; the version of the words beside the button; and when. Nothing else: no name, phone, company or address. The open question is the one box you can type anything into, so please leave customer names and addresses out of it.
• Why: to set you up when Intry Pro opens, to write to you about it, and to shape what it does around how you work. We write to you ourselves, only about Intry Pro. There is no newsletter and no automated email.
• Where it goes: into our database (the one named in section 7), in a table the public cannot reach: only our own server, and we ourselves, can read it. Your email address is never sent to Google Analytics and never put in a page address. Analytics records that a sign-up happened, where you came to it from, and the answers you tapped. It never receives your email address.
• Never sold: we never sell, rent or share it with anyone.
• Deleted when you ask: email us at the address in section 12, or reply to any email we send you, and we delete your sign-up and your answers and tell you when it is done. Otherwise we keep it until you ask, or until we stop offering Intry Pro, whichever comes first.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for the site to work and Google Analytics cookies to understand usage. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the calculators still work.

7. Services we use

• Vercel: website hosting and delivery
• Google Analytics (GA4): anonymous usage analytics
• OpenRouter: the AI provider behind Jim, used only when you ask Jim a question (Jim is paused, so not today)
• Supabase: the database where the equipment details and readings described above, and Intry Pro sign-ups (section 5), are kept
• Google Workspace (Gmail and Sheets): where a message you send us is delivered and kept, only when you send one

Each operates under its own privacy policy. We only rely on what each needs to function.

8. What we do not do

• The tools have no accounts and no email gate, and never ask you to sign up
• No advertising and no ad trackers
• Your saved work never reaches us unless you send it
• We never sell, rent, or share data with anyone, for any reason

9. Your choices

You can block cookies, use a Google Analytics opt-out, or browse privately. To ask about the anonymous usage counts we collect, or to raise a concern, email us at the address below. To have your Intry Pro sign-up deleted, email the same address.

10. Children

The site is a professional trade tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

11. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
